Perhaps one of my favourite photos i've taken yet, it was the last day on my trip to the lake district and the weather was dull and boring, i'd been up since 6am hoping for a good sunrise and it just didn't happen.

I decided to drive to Lake Buttermere searching for better light, as I was walking towards the lake I noticed this shaft of light break out from the clouds and highlight one side of the fells. I quickly composed a few shots, set my filters in place and made some exposures, it didn't last long at all and before I knew it, the clouds gathered up and the scene was dull again, I'd gotton my shot though:)

Please, if you like the photo could you give it a fave? it helps my page grow more than you may think, thank you:)

Probably one of the most stunning shot of your gallery. I like the colours in your others shots, but they looks somewhat fake. Here, it just looks natural and great. Love it. Thumbs up! (you probably guessed I never modify my shots from the camera to the publication ^^)
