Hey everyone, hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year or even just a good holiday period!

Just writing this to inform you all that I wont be taking any photographs for quite some time and the road to professional status has reached a roadblock
I was recently out taking photographs one night trying to get some long exposures at the coast, as you can imagine, it was pitch black and I got caught out by a wave and the camera and tripod was knocked over and into the sea. I managed to find it but as you can already guess its ruined, short circuited, salt water is already ruining the mechanical parts of the camera, so that's my beautiful D300 ruined, oh and I also had a £400 lens on it

The worst part? I was never insured, it never crossed my mind to insure it, so I only have myself to blame.
Bad bad times.

On a plus side, I sold two photos the other week for £150 each
